Vintage Kimono Clothing and Accessories
Kimono fabric is 12-16 inches wide. Kimonos are usually 100% silk or silk blends. Flaws and wear are inherent in the vintage fabric. I will try to note these irregularities. My creations can fit a size small to medium. Due to the width of the fabric I cannot fit size large. All items are designed and made by the artist. Lining and topper patches and backing and backing of runners and mats are the only "new" fabric that is added to the vintage kimono fabric.

These are my invention made for this suit jacket which I wore during the Nisei Week Japan Tour. I changed the Topper color and matching accessories in each city that we visited - inorder to look like I had more than 1 suit. Toppers can be worn on a jacket, sweater or blouce that has a straight edge. These are used as embellishments.
